On April 17, general cargo ship RIX PARTNER was en route from Frederiksvaerk Denmark to Papenburg Germany.
Movements in Great Belt arouse suspicions at Vessel Traffic Control Center at around midnight while the ship was approaching Great Belt Bridge from north.
A police boat was sent to check the ship, police and Navy team boarded the ship, finding Russian Master, seemingly drunk, at ship’s control.
On April 18, RIX PARTNER was brought to anchor south of bridge and as of morning she was still at anchor.
Blood test was carried out and results are yet to be declared.
