He also praised Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, for"staying away from limelight", but doing things which have an "impact" and"long-term consequences". Kushner is widely acknowledged to be the brainbehind Trump's Middle East peace plan.Earlier, Trump reached Ahmedabad around 11.40 am. Modi was there at theairport to receive him and hugged him when they met. From there, Trump andMelania went to Sabarmati Ashram. Trump and Modi will hold bilateral talksat Hyderabad House in New Delhi today.NITISH KUMAR SAYS NPR SHOULD STICK TO 2010 FORMAT - NO PARENT DETAILSAssuring minorities that there is no reason to fear the National PopulationRegister exercise, which his government will conduct from May 15-28, BiharChief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that the NPR "should be implemented asper the 2010 format".This puts a question mark on three key additional questions in the latestexercise - date of birth and place of parents, and last residential address,of the applicant - that had sparked fears of the NPR leading to acountrywide National Register of Citizens (NRC).JD(S) chief Kumar also reiterated that the NRC will not be implemented inthe state.Earlier this month, the Bihar government had written to the RegistrarGeneral of India, saying that the state has not received the format ofquestions for the proposed NPR.On January 4, the NDA state government's Deputy Chief Minister and BJPleader Sushil Kumar Modi had first referred to the "three additionalquestions in the new NPR" while announcing the implementation of theexercise in Bihar.But on Sunday evening, speaking at a function organised by the state'sminority welfare department in Darbhanga, Nitish Kumar said: "("I willensure that there is no injustice done to any community in society.
